Swiss-Garden International (SGI) has extended its operations to Sabah by taking over a hotel in this east coast town of Sabah. Sandakan Municipal Council President James Wong officiated the rebranding of @ease Boutique Hotel, which is now known as Swiss-Inn Waterfront Sandakan. SGI vice president of business development Melinda Ngew said the expansion in Sabah will provide an ideal avenue for the hotel chain to continuously extend and establish its brand portfolio to the Sabah and Sarawak sector where demand for hotel rooms has escalated. “Our brand appeals to different market segments with three distinctive brand labels namely the Swiss-Garden Hotel, Swiss Garden Resort and Swiss-Inn. “We have achieved our objective with the introduction of our Swiss-Inn brand portfolio in Sabah and travellers visiting Sandakan will have the opportunity to sample our distinctive signature services and product innovations,” Ngew said at a press conference here today. She said the Swiss-Inn Waterfront Sandakan is strategically located at the heart of Sandakan Harbour Square, a prime waterfront landmark set to become a leisure, entertainment and commercial hub.
